Supported Living

Helping people live more independently, with support they can rely on.

Supported living with Involvement Support enables adults to live in their own homes while receiving personalised support that promotes independence, safety and wellbeing.

We support adults with a wide range of needs, including learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, dementia, physical disabilities and sensory impairments.

What supported living means

Supported living offers individuals greater choice and control over their lives. People typically hold their own tenancy, with care and support provided separately based on assessed needs.

Support can range from a small number of hours each week to daily or 24-hour support, depending on what is required to live safely, comfortably and with confidence.

What we support with

Support is tailored to the individual and may include:

  • Personal care (where commissioned)
  • Support with daily routines and household tasks
  • Medication support and prompts
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Managing appointments and activities
  • Building life skills and confidence
  • Community participation and relationships
  • Emotional wellbeing and coping strategies
